Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband, Alexander, in 1988 and by her sister, Marlene (Mary) Holinach in 1995. Nancy was a person of prayer and deep spiritual faith and she considered her life a blessing from God. She was a devoted member of the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of Saints Vladimir and Olga and she often spoke of her love for the Church and for the Parish. Nancy was a very sociable person with an engaging personality. She had a very special fondness for her close neighbours children and grandchildren, who would often drop in on "Grandma" for treats and conversation. Nancys love of gardening was reflected in the colourful flower and vegetable gardens she always planted. Nancy also loved animals, especially her cat Blanche. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by all the members of the Parish, by her friends, and especially by her close neighbours. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Saints Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 114 McGregor St., Winnipeg. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Saints Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
